Since I truly hope you're never a customer at Hotel Huntsman, I thought I'd share the fine experience with you...it's a pretty amazing place!
It's a combination between Nordstrom and The Grand America Hotel. The hallways are huge, marble floors, glass window panes that go from floor to ceiling overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. The curves of the building follow the inside. It's just beautiful. And everyone is really really nice. Again, like you're treated when you go to a fancy hotel or fly first class on Delta. Oh, I almost forgot the best part! There's a beautiful grand piano with cute little white haired lady who plays classical music all day long. You could pretty much live there! They also have a basket of crotched hats in every waiting area for the patients... you never know when your head will get chilled, right?
And to top it off, while I was waiting for Dan, a nice young man walks by every 30 minutes with a cart of treats... all complimentary of course. I felt like I was on the train to Hogwarts!
Dan's experience wasn't quite as nice as mine... :( I will spare you all of the details.. I will just say that he is tired of having doctor after doctor examine him.
The MRI Dan had today is a critical step in deciding the plan he will take. He will know more tomorrow about his fate...
